Way of Presentation

Oral Presentation

For regular and keynote speakers, Presentation time is totally 20 min. (15 min. + discussion 4 min. + change 1 min.).

For plenary lectures, presentation time is totally 30 min. (25 min. + discussion 4 min. + change 1 min.).

PC: Oral presentations are performed by using Office PowerPoint. We will provide note PC (Windows XP or Vista with Office PowerPoint Viewer 2007) in each conference room. But we cannot guarantee its operational environment. You can also use your own PC.

Preparation of presentation: Bring your data file in a USB flash memory. Come to the presenter’s desk when the break just before your session starts. When your session is at the initial session, do it just after opening the conference hall (open at 8:50). When your session is just after lunch, do it 20 minutes before the start of your session. The person in charge will prepare for you. You can check the operational environment by using the PC in Room F on 1st June, and Room D on 2nd, 3rd and 4th June where a person in charge stays. In case you bring your own PC, prepare it on the presenter’s desk when the break just before your session will start. Switch on your PC and keep standby mode on the desk. Connect the cable just before your presentation. When your session is at the initial session or just after lunch, do it 20 minutes before the start of your session.

Poster Presentation

A0 size poster is suitable for the presentation. The panel size is 90 cm width and 200 cm height. We will prepare pins in the room.

Official presentation period will be from 17:30 to 20:30 on June 2nd. Prepare your poster between 13:30 and 14:00 on June 2nd in Room C & D. We will prepare pins in the room. You can display your poster by 12:00 on June 3rd. If the poster will remain after 12:00 on June 3rd, it will be abandoned by us.

Core times and those poster numbers are as follows. Present in front of your poster during your core time.

  • 17:30-18:15 : Poster numbers P(001+4n) n=0, 1, 2 …
  • 18:15-19:00 : Poster numbers P(002+4n)
  • 19:00-19:45 : Poster numbers P(003+4n)
  • 19:45-20:30 : Poster numbers P(004+4n)
